Red Ribbon Week Activities

Thanks to Ms. Visor for putting together some great Red Ribbon Week activities to encourage our students to remain drug-free! See below for a list of activities for the week.

All Students: Looking Sharp for Red Ribbon Week!

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday
RED-y to be
Drug Free!
Living Drug Free is No Sweat! Boot Out Drugs! Running Away from Drugs! Drug Free JEANius & Black Out Against Bullying
Wear as much red as you can! Wear plain sweat pants and/or sweat shirt (no writing). Follow the dress code. Wear any kind of boots--rain, work, cowboy, etc. Wear running shoes or sneakers. Wear jeans and a black or dark blue shirt.
We will also have a guest speaker.

Middle School

In addition to the school-wide events above, middle schoolers will also have the following opportunities:

  • Decorate classroom doors
  • Wear your Drug Free armband
  • Be a Life Saver: Encourage your friends to be drug-free. Students will receive Life Saver candy.
  • Create Drug Free comic strips
  • "All That and a Bag of Chips" Friday celebration

High School

In addition to the school-wide events at the top of the page, high school students will also have the following opportunities:

  • Create a poem, rap, song, or skit video celebrating the theme "Respect Yourself: Be Drug Free!"
  • Create a Red Ribbon Week poster
  • "Poppin' to be Drug Free and Washing Out Drugs" Popcorn Party on Thursday for those who participate the rest of the week.
  • Drug Free Sundae Party on Friday
